Herman Munster, like most inventions by that mad, mad doctor Frankenstein, is a rather clumsy creature. As dim-witted as he is tall, Herman is nonetheless one of the most beloved classic characters from TV and a great choice for your Halloween costume this year.
Items you will need:
Green body paint or makeup
Black wig if necessary
Black makeup
Black shirt
Black blazer
Black pants
Big black boots
Dress all in black – shirt, pants, socks, blazer and boots. If you don’t have black hair, you are going to need a wig. Paint your face and hands green — the brighter the green, the better. Use the black makeup to add a scar running down your forehead. If you are vertically challenged, you’re going to need all the height you can get. Try finding boots that give you that added height. Dressing as a Munster is something the whole family can do. There are lots of characters to choose from – Herman, Lily, Grandpa, Eddie and, of course, Marilyn, the tragically beautiful cousin.

Herman Munster is the breadwinner of the Munster family, which resides at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Herman is one of many creations by Dr. Frankenstein, which means he has big shoes to fill (size 26C, actually).
