Skeleton Halloween Costume

Skeleton Halloween Costume

A skeleton makes for a great Halloween costume - no bones about it!

Items you will need:
Black clothing (sweats or tights work well)
White or glow-in-the dark paint
Skull mask

Start by laying your dark clothing out on the floor on a surface that is open and that can be used for painting. Paint “bones” onto the clothing where bones would appear on your body. Once finished, let the clothing dry. Put the clothing once it dries and don your skeleton mask. If you’d rather not paint, you can draw bones on paper, then cut them out and attach them to the costume - that’s kind of a drag, though - plus they can rip during the course of the Halloween party.

Frightening Fact
At birth, the human skeleton is made up of 275 different bones. As the body matures, some of these bones, such as wrist and ankle bones, fuse together leaving only 206 bones in the adult body. Ew!
