Halloween is a great reason to bark at the moon! Dressing as a werewolf is a great way to pay homage to a classic monster. It’s also a great excuse to act like an animal (not that we encourage that)!
Items you will need for your Werewolf Halloween Costume:
Spirit gum
Lots of hair - use a wig, fake beard or buy it separately Fake teeth
Ripped clothing (long-sleeved shirt)
Brown and black face paint
Werewolf hands
Get dressed first so you don’t mess up your hair! Go ahead and leave the shirt open at the chest or rip it, because you will need to add some hair there later on. Using spirit gum, carefully apply the beard to your clean face. Once your beard is secure, carefully apply the brown makeup to your face and use the black to give definition around your eyes, nose and cheekbones. If you’re feeling brave, attach more hair over your own eyebrows. If not, just fill them in with the makeup. Use the spirit gum to glue some more hair to your chest - make sure it comes through the shirt. To complete the look, put on the werewolf hands or gloves. Arrrrooooo! It’s Howloween!
Frightening Fact:
You are a werewolf if:
- You have hairy palms
- Tattoos of the crescent moon
- A unibrow
- Very long third finger on each hand
- Get exceptionally hairy when there is a full moon
