Witch Halloween Costume

Dressing as a Witch for Halloween is a popular choice because the witch is one of the great classic figures of traditional Halloween lore and because the costume is relatively easy to create.

Items you will need for your Witch Halloween Costume:
Pointy black hat
Black wig
Black cape
Black clothes (skirts & hose are great)
Black shoes (preferably with a heel)
Makeup for face (green and putty for warts)
A broomstick
A fake black cat

It doesn’t take much to put together a witch Halloween costume. In fact, if you are on a tight budget, I highly recommend this costume. All you need is a pointy black hat, a long, flowing black wig (or your own hair) and black clothing topped with a black cape. You can purchase special Halloween costume makeup to create big warts for your face. Wear black shoes as well (with a heel, if you please). The key to a witch Halloween costume is to cop a “witchy” attitude! Cast spells on anyone that gets in your way!!

For the final touch, carry a broomstick with a fake black cat attached to the bristly end as though the cat is going for a ride on your broomstick.
