Marilyn Manson cover songs

As our name implies, this site is about all things creepy. I think Marilyn Manson definitely fits that category. Our friends over at Head Full Of Noise have a great post about some of the cover songs Marilyn Manson has done. Here’s what they say about his cover of Danny Elfman’s “This is Halloween” from NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

If there was ever a more perfect song for Mr. Creepy himself to perform, “This Is Halloween” is it. Manson cranks up the drums in his version, but the guitars and distortion stay towards the back. Manson really carry’s the song with his vocal work. His singing ranges from his deep, throaty style to his creepy high pitch screams. It adds a lot to the creepy atmosphere of the song.

Green Lantern the Movie Hal Jordan Halloween Costumes

Earth is in trouble, but lucky for us, we have Hal Jordan. You may know Hal Jordan as Green Lantern. And you may know Green Lantern as Ryan Reynolds. Does any of this make sense?!? Of course!

This summer, Ryan Reynolds plays Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) in the Green Lantern movie. This means you will be the shit if you wear a Green Lantern Halloween costume for Halloween this year. What makes the Green Lantern Halloween costume so special? It’s not just the look of the Halloween costume, it’s the accessories – like the Green Lantern Power Ring (given to Green Lantern by the alien Abin Sur). Much of Green Lantern’s power comes from the ring. It also helps Green Lantern lift 40 ouncers at the Halloween costume party!

Keep in mind that Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), is a founding member of the Justice League of America – and that is a GREAT idea for a group Halloween costume – all superheros, all Justice League of America.
